Half term was pretty chilled for us as we had family visiting. But as we are unable to use the room at the adventure playground during the holidays one of the families from our home ed group hosted a music workshop for the children. The families eldest son is at college studying music and plays the drums and it was very kind of him to give his time for the group so thank you James. All the children had lots of fun making lots of noise and working together to create some music.
Oscar loved having a go on a full size drum kit.
And he thought the didgeridoo was brilliant!
We also went to the dockyard as they had some Halloween activities on board The Warrior.
Oscar made a bat using cut outs of his hands for wings.
And he made this bag for Halloween treats.
Oscar really enjoyed a pumpkin trail round the ship following the clues to find the pumpkins.
Then there was time for a hot chocolate and a biscuit in the cafe before coming home.
Music workshop looks fun!
