All about the moon

Oscar began today with some sums then we started a project about the moon.

Oscar started by learning some moon vocabulary words. I was pleasantly surprised how much he already knew and how much remembered from the earth and sun projects we have done recently and how easily he was able to apply that knowledge to what we are learning about the moon.

Oscar also learnt some facts about he moon and about the size and mass of the moon in relation to the earth.

This afternoon we made some moon, star, astronaut and rocket gingerbread biscuits.
